Crowds turn out for Festival by the Sea

Crowds turned out this weekend for Holden Beach's Festival by the Sea.


The annual parade kicked off Saturday's festivities. Arts and crafts vendors, food and live entertainment were available throughout the weekend. 

The food lineup included: Maco Enterprises, Ocean Isle Beach; Greek Boys, Wilmington; Ruby Woods, Morganton; Reva's Kitchen, Wilmington; Dippin' Dots, Rocky Mount; Mrs. K's Funnel Cakes, Calabash; Provision Company, Holden Beach; N.C. Sweet Tea, Wilmington; Coble's Ice Cream, Asheboro; Steak Boys, Matthews; and Onions Gone Wild, Raleigh.

Live entertainment included:

Saturday: 1-3 p.m. - L Shape Lot Band, 3-5 p.m. - The Daniel Parish Band

Sunday: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Legree, 1-3 p.m. - Classic rock-n-roll band TBA
