Curran was among the best

To the editor:
I was very disappointed to read in the Aug. 2 edition of the Beacon that Caroline Curran was leaving your fine staff. She was the best, in my humble opinion.
As the late, great Edward R. Murrow used to say: “Good night, and good luck, Caroline!”
