'Double parking' viewed as excessive in Sunset Beach

SUNSET BEACH—Changes in parking guidelines that would require more than double the spaces for a renovated facility may be excessive, a town building official has told the town planning board.

Town building inspector Jeff Curtis said the ordinance was changed a few years ago, dating back to when plans were being submitted for the new Waves Beachwear store.
