Agents with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit arrested four suspects after executing a search warrant last Thursday.
Agents seized 14 grams of cocaine and $1,904 from a home on Sunnybrook Way in Leland after a month-long investigation.
The following individuals were charged:
•Travis Layne Spainhour, 35, of 372 Sunnybrook Way; charged with manufacture cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance, possession of ounces or less of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Spainhour was placed under a $25,000 secured bond.
•Michael Lane Dolbow, 47, of 372 Sunnybrook Way; charged with manufacture cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance, possession of ounces or less of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. At press time Tuesday, Dolbow remained in custody at the Brunswick County Detention Center under a $30,000 secured bond.
•Odell Bennerman, 45, of 534 Leap Frog Lane, Leland; charged with felony possession of cocaine.
•Marvin Harper, 46, of 5639 Fulton Ave., Castle Hayne; charged with felony possession of cocaine.
Other suspects arrested by drug agents last week and their charges, which are taken directly from arrest reports, are:
•Thomas Gilmer Bowden III, 62, of 16 Apache Trail, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule IV controlled substance.
•Michael Cory Reaves, 21, of 631 West Wind Drive, Supply; charged with misdemeanor larceny, resisting a public officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.
•Gilbert James Green, 42, of 553 Allison Drive, Calabash; charged with maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine, possession of less than ounces of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
•Keith Allen Brooks Burchfield, 25, of 9159 Eagles Nest Drive, Leland; charged with possession of ounces or less of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
