DRUG REPORT

Agents with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit made the following arrests last week. The suspects and their charges, which are taken directly from arrest reports and citations, are:

•Melinda Kay Edge, 25, of 395 South Crow Creek Drive, Calabash; charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Michael Paul Perrone, 33, 7102 Beach Drive, Ocean Isle Beach; charged with possession of ounce or less of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Bryan Scott West, 25, of 6489 Funston Road SE, Winnabow; charged with felony possession of cocaine and possession of ounce or less of marijuana.

•Jimmy Ray Lewis, 38, of 1950 Ocean View Drive, Sunset Beach; charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession of ounce or less of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Lynn Wright King, 41, of 2904 Bethany Court, Supply; charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance on prison/jail premises, simple possession of a schedule IV controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Bennie Lee James III, 30, of 7743 Jermonts Way, Leland; charged with possession of ounce or less of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
