Drug report

Agents with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit made the following arrests last week. The suspects and their charges, which are taken directly from arrest reports, are:

•Nikko Rashawn Hankins, 19, of 184 Little Macedonia Road, Supply; charged May 2 with simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance, flee/elude arrest with a motor vehicle, reckless driving/wanton disregard, assault on a government official/employees, possession of ounces or less of marijuana, speeding and fail to heed a light or siren. On April 26, Hankins was charged with resisting a public officer.

•Eric Melendez, 32, of 389 Turkey St., Shallotte; charged with manufacture marijuana.

•Ben Laquan Ash, 19, of Makatoka Road, Supply; charged with two counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine.

•Susan Christine McArthur Scott, 37, of 3273 Ash-Little River Road, Ash; charged with possession of ounces or less of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Carl J. Scott, 45, of 3273 Ash-Little River Road, Ash; charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of ounces or less of marijuana.

•Stephen Jackson, 16, of 514 Mulligan Way, Bolivia; charged with possession of ounces or less of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
