Drugs, paraphernalia land three in jail

Heroin, cocaine and drug paraphernalia landed three people in the Brunswick County jail last week.

Kirby Elizabeth Williams, 29, 1655 Empire Road, Supply, was arrested by the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Vice Narcotics Unit and charged with two counts each of possession of heroin, a schedule I controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Williams was also charged with one count of felony possession of cocaine, a schedule II controlled substance.

One of three warrants for Williams’ arrest said she was in possession of heroin, wax paper bidles and a plastic bag to store and contain a controlled substance.

A second warrant said she was in possession of a spoon and wax papers as well as heroin.

A third warrant said she possessed cocaine.

Thomas Gregory Cromartie Jr., 24, 2814 Pin St., Wilmington, was charged with one count of felony possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia, a plastic bag.

Curtis Shawn Jeter, 26, 311 West 6th St., Tabor City, was charged with one count of felony possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia, a $1 bill.

All three were booked into the Brunswick County Detention Center
