Drummer teaches lessons of respect

Funding provided through a Brunswick Arts Council Grass Roots grant is bringing to life the character of “Mufasa, the wise and noble Lion King.”
The Communities in Schools (CIS) After School Program has contracted with Cheick Sissoko, an accomplished African drummer from West Africa, to teach students from Lincoln and Town Creek elementary schools about the diverse world and how cultures differ, both now and in the past.
