The East Carolina Bank (ECB) recently relocated to a new office at 6278 Beach Drive, Suite 1, in the Landing at Ocean Isle Beach.

In celebration of the new office, ECB is hosting a month long grand-relocation celebration for its customers and is inviting customers to tour the facility and experience the new additional services the bank now has to offer.

The bank’s old office closed on Friday, Oct. 29, to allow the staff to relocate less than one mile down the road to the new office, which opened its doors on Monday, Nov. 1. The new office is in the Landing shopping area in an end unit near the Lowe’s Foods grocery store.

“We want to thank the citizens and customers of Ocean Isle Beach for the warm acceptance they have given to ECB since we opened the doors in 2007,” said James J. Burson, executive vice president and chief revenue officer. “Our new office demonstrates our commitment to expand our customer-focused and convenience-oriented service to existing and new customers in Ocean Isle Beach and south Brunswick County.”

Rita Tatum, office executive for the OIB office, agreed.

“We are excited to be expanding services and space for our customers. The addition of an ATM, drive-thru teller, and night deposit are features our customers have been asking for and we are delighted to be able to offer them services designed to make banking easier and more convenient,” she said, “and we are excited to offer people the opportunity to win some great prizes to help us celebrate.”

The new end unit has 1,210 square feet of service area and includes three offices, a drive-thru lane, automated teller machine (ATM) and a night depository box. Housed in the new office will be Amy Lowrance, business banker, to help small businesses with banking needs; Denise Smith, customer service representative; and Caroline Gallimore, head teller.

In addition to discussions about services offered, drawings will be conducted where eligible entries could win a Flip camcorder, a Kindle electronic reader, and other gift certificates to Lowe’s Foods, Causeway Gourmet restaurant, and Roberto’s restaurant.
