BCC adds short-term classes for spring
The Economic and Workforce Development Department (EWD) at Brunswick Community College offers short-term programs and classes for self-improvement, cultural enrichment, and academic achievement geared towards adults seeking skills for employment, intellectual stimulation, community involvement, and social interaction.

Esthetician Technology Services
Students can perform the following services: facials, hair removal, back cleansing and micro-dermabrasion. Senior citizens (65+), Brunswick Community College students, faculty and staff receive all services at half-price. Senior citizens (65+), faculty and staff can receive one rejuvenation facial service free (one free service per week).

New Generations Careers Brunswick grant is funded by the N.C. Rural Economic Development Center. These programs will target adults, ages 18-30, and assist them in charting their own career path. Services provided include: career path exploration, planning, education, training, work-life skill training, mentors, job shadowing, internships, and much more!
Students will be able to choose a career path from the following areas: building construction, carpentry technician, CAD blueprint technician, computer repair technician, electrical technician, green construction rehabilitation specialist, healthcare billing/coding, heating and air condition technician, industrial and facilities maintenance technology, medical office assistant, nursing assistant, plumbing technician, solar installer and vehicle maintenance.
