LAS VEGAS—Carl Edwards got to victory lane for the second week in a row. He followed up last week’s win at California by finishing ahead of Dale Earnhardt Jr. in Sunday’s UAW-Dodge 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The win was the ninth of his career, and it moved him into the Sprint Cup points lead for the first time in his career.
“This was a very special win,” Edwards said. “I was just trying to hold off Dale there at the end. This is an amazing couple of weeks.”
