Elections: Incumbents face challengers in bids for N.C. General Assembly seats

Three seats representing Brunswick County and its coastal communities are up for grabs on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6.

N.C. Senate District 8 incumbent Bill Rabon, R-Southport, is being challenged by Danny Hefner, D-Ocean Isle Beach. N.C. House District 17 incumbent Frank Iler, R-Oak Island, faces off against challenger Lundia Washington, D-Bolivia, while District 18 incumbent Susi Hamilton, R-Wilmington, is being challenged by Louis Harmati, R-Winnabow.
