The Calabash Elks will host a Halloween costume dinner and dance fundraiser from 6-10 p.m.
This year’s menu is a choice of either prime rib or chicken cordon bleu. Entertainment will be provided by Hot and Heavy in full Halloween regalia. Cost is $15 per person and reservations are required. Seating is limited. Call 579-4600.
Last year, the Elks raised enough money and gifts to supply more than 30 Hope Harbor families with complete turkey dinners, more than 150 toys for kids and a Christmas Party at the lodge. This year they hope to help out more than 50 families recommended by Brunswick Family Assistance and the sheriff’s department.
They also hope to provide more than 200 toys.
