LELAND—Emergency Services Director Randy Thompson has asked county commissioners to include funding for two departmental overhauls in next fiscal year’s budget.
At the county commissioners’ budget retreat Monday, Thompson unveiled two projects he said would help public safety agencies around the county.
The first project involves taking over the daily operations of the Shallotte Fire Training Center owned by the town of Shallotte.
