It’s time to show us how you view Brunswick County. What makes the area unique to you throughout the year?
Show off your photographic talents and share your corner of the county with others in The Brunswick Beacon’s 2012 “Brunswick Life” photo contest. Winners will receive cash prizes and inclusion in future Brunswick Beacon publications including the 2013 calendar.
There are three divisions to include all ages. The kids’ division is for ages 12 and younger. The teen division includes ages 13 to 18 years old, and the adult division is for photographers who are 19 years old and older.
Pick up your camera and show us what makes life in Brunswick County unique.
The deadline for entry is noon Friday, Oct. 19.
There is an entry fee of $5 per photo in the adult division. Kids’ and teen divisions are free. Participants may enter as many photos as they wish.
Photos will be judged on originality, representation of theme (Brunswick life) and technical merit. Please limit beach sunrise and sunset photo submissions.
Winners in each division will receive cash prizes.
Winners in the adult division will receive $100 for first place, $50 for second place and $25 for third place. Winners in teen and kids’ divisions will receive $50 for first place, $25 for second place and $10 for third place. Prizes will be awarded at judges’ discretion.
