Kristin Nichole Evans and Mark Allen Register, both of Southport, were married Saturday, May 10, at Brunswick Town State Historic Site.

Pastor Bobby Wilson of Winnabow officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Marshall and Debbie Evans of Bolivia.

The groom is the son of Martin and Gail Register of Southport.

The bride was given in marriage and escorted by her sons, Alexander Evans and Elliott Register.

The bride wore an off-white, full-length satin and chiffon gown with train embellished with sequins and pearls.

She carried a bouquet of white daisies with periwinkle and light purple roses.

The bride’s sister, Amber Weaver, served as matron of honor. Lauren Evans, the bride’s sister-in-law, served as bridesmaid.

The bride’s attendants wore tea-length satin and chiffon periwinkle dresses with satin bows and chiffon sleeves.

Martin Register served as his son’s best man. Elvis Cain, the groom’s cousin, served as groomsman.

The bride’s parents hosted a reception at their home in Bolivia after the wedding.

The groom is a graduate of South Brunswick High School and is employed with H.D. Line, a contractor for Brunswick Electric Membership Corp.

The bride is a South Brunswick High School graduate and attended Appalachian State University. She is employed at Surfer’s Restaurant in Southport.

Following a honeymoon trip to Myrtle Beach and Charleston, S.C., the couple resides in Southport.
