The winds are blowing 10 to 20 mph out the south Monday, Oct.7, as a strong cold front approaches. The strong southerly winds have temporarily brought warmer air temperatures to our area. The water temperatures have increased 5 degrees into the upper 70s. As the cold front passes our area, we will see much cooler temperatures as northerly winds bring in cooler temperatures from the Ohio valley. Our fish will suffer a bit of shock as these conditions change rapidly.
