OAK ISLAND FALL CLASSIC
The North Carolina Kayak Fishing Association will be host to the second annual Oak Island Fall Classic on Oct. 8.
The kayak fishing tournament proceeds will benefit the Oak Island Sea Turtle program. There will be five fishing divisions: king mackerel, redfish, flounder, trout and a slam division. Prizes will include a kayak for the winners in each division.
The rules and details are at www.nckfa.com. The Adventure Kayak Company of Southport is one of the sponsors of this event.
