Ashlie Lauren Frink of Ocean Isle Beach and Benjamin Earl Nye III of Evergreen were married April 12 at Leamon Rogers Memorial Chapel in Lake Waccamaw.
Pastor Willard McPherson officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Frink and Ashlie Babson of Ocean Isle Beach. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin E. Nye Jr. of Lake Waccamaw.
The bride was given in marriage and escorted by her father.
She wore a champagne all over beaded lace trumpet gown with empire waist and cap sleeves, a chapel train and pearl and diamond earrings, necklace and bracelet and carried a bouquet of cascading white lilies with blue orchids and peacock feathers.
Bailey Lewis, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor
Bridesmaids were Tiffani Frink and Samantha Frink, sisters of the bride; Cecilia Brown, cousin of the bride; and Heather R. McPherson, Alex Byrd and April Christianson, all friends of the bride.
Brides attendants wore satin with sheer overlay oasis-colored knee-length dresses with three different bodice styles among them – three with twisted crisscross sleeveless, two strapless and two with spaghetti straps – and carried bouquets of white lilies with peacock feathers and teal ribbon.
Mary Anne Babson and Avery Babson, cousins of the bride, served as flower girls. Ringbearer was Seth Williams, cousin of the groom.
Benjamin E. Nye Jr., father of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Chase Nye, brother of the groom; Ozzly Johnson, cousin of the groom; Colton Johnson, cousin of the groom; Louie Nye, uncle of the groom; and Tanner Memory, friend of the groom.
Sandra Nobles assisted as wedding director; Helen Leggett as pianist; Mr. and Mrs. Teddy Tedder as vocalists; and Morgan Nye, cousin of the bride, and David Nye, cousin of the groom, served as register and program attendants.
A reception followed at The Vineland Station in Whiteville.
The bride is a graduate of WBHS and UNC Pembroke with a bachelor’s of science degree. She is now working for Columbus County Schools.
The groom is a graduate of Whiteville High School and UNC Pembroke with a bachelor’s of arts degree. He is now working for Columbus County Schools.
Following a honeymoon in Excellence Riviera, Cancun, the couple will reside in Evergreen.
