Racing Saturday at Myrtle Beach Speedway saw the return of the Super Trucks for the second time in three weeks and the third week of racing for the Limited Late Models, Street Stocks and Mini-Stocks.

The 15-lap Street Stock race was a three-car battle among Tommy Poole, Davey Hatchell and Dean Cumbee. Cumbee ended up passing two-time defending champion Poole with two laps to go to take his first victory of the 2009 season.

In the 25-lap limited Late Model feature, Michael Elliot led start to finish virtually untested, finishing ahead of Randall Roberts.

In Super Trucks, veteran Robert Elliot passed polesitter Clay Thomas on lap 32 never looked back to take his first ever Super Truck win at Myrtle Beach Speedway.

In Mini-Stocks, Willie Fulford took the lead on the start and led wire-to-wire to win the 20-lap shootout, followed by his father, Dub. This was a very emotional win for the Fulford family, after the death of Willie’s and Adam’s grandfather and Dub’s father the previous week.
