In most of our golf communities, dogs must be walked on a leash. Walking your dog several times a day is a good thing.
The Mayo Clinic tells us that walking is a gentle, low-impact exercise that can ease you into a higher level of fitness and health. It can lower bad (LDL) cholesterol, raise good (HDL) cholesterol, lower blood pressure, reduce or manage type 2 diabetes, manage weight, improve your mood and help you to stay strong and fit.
