Golden and silver anniversaries

Bobby and Yvonne Gore of Ocean Isle Beach and Steve and Melba Johnson of Shallotte celebrated their golden and silver anniversary, respectively, in a joint renewal of vows ceremony at Jennies Branch Baptist Church on Jan. 7. The Rev. Robbie Stephens conducted the service. A reception took place following the ceremony in the fellowship hall.
The Gores were married on Dec. 24, 1962, in Conway, S.C. They have two sons, Keith and Jon, and three grandchildren: Jason, Ryan and Russ Gore.
