Tourney April 1 for Relay for Life
Town Creek Elementary School is sponsoring a golf tourney April 20 at Magnolia Greens and the proceeds benefit Relay for Life. The shotgun start is 8 a.m. The fee is $60 per golfer, $240 per team, and covers lunch. To register, call Stella Tucker at (910) 253-6500 or email stucker@bcswan.net by April 1.
SBI fundraiser May 18
The South Brunswick Islands Rotary’s 16th annual golf fundraiser begins at
9 a.m. May 18 at Tiger’s Eye. The Fore! Kidz Golf Tournament is captain’s choice and has three flights. The $500 team fee ($125 per golfer) covers breakfast, on-course soft drinks, barbecue lunch and tee. Pay before March 22 and save $100 per foursome. More information is at sbirotary.org.

•Dictionary Program, in which every third-grade student in the county receives a dictionary.
•Communities in Schools scholarships.
•Rotary Youth Leadership Awards sponsor high school juniors to attend the yearly Leadership Conference.
•Fully endowed scholarship at Brunswick Community College.
•Annually award up to seven academic and one band scholarship to WBHS seniors.
•The First Tee of Brunswick County scholarships.
•Relay for Life and Girls on the Run programs.

March 20, Tiger’s Eye at Ocean Ridge, $45, 8 a.m. sign-in, 9 a.m. start. Price includes cart fee, greens fee, cart attendants, refreshments and prizes.  
April 25, Oak Island Golf, Brunswick Gator Senior Games qualifier. For Brunswick Gator Senior Games participants only. Senior Games registration packet must  be completed by March 8 to play in this tournament. Call 253-2670 for more information.
May 22, Oak Island Golf,  $40, 8 a.m. sign-in, 9 a.m. start. Price includes cart fee, greens fee, cart attendants, refreshments and prizes.  
June 12, Players Club at St. James Plantation, $45. 8 a.m. sign-in, 9 a.m. start. Price includes cart fee, greens fee, cart attendants, refreshments and prizes.
