Recently, a Beacon reporter took issue with comments made by President Obama that credit for the success of citizens or businesses in America should be shared by the individual and government—federal, state and local.
Since the president’s speech was either misunderstood or misinterpreted by the reporter in a “chicken or egg” column, some personal information will be provided to support the comments made by the president about shared success.
