Hamilton-Hobbs engagements

Announcement is made of the forthcoming marriage of Dana Carol Hamilton of Southport and Captain James Jodale Hobbs of Pinehurst. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Hamilton III of Southport and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nichlious L. Corn II of Burnsville. The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick Hobbs of Pinehurst and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Landon Riley Jr. of Carthage. An Aug. 7 wedding is planned overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway at the Southport Community Center. The couple will reside at Holden Beach.
