It is unfortunate your writer Laura Lewis in her article of Jan. 29 only told one side of the story about Homeowners Associations instead of recognizing the many positive aspects HOAs do provide in communities throughout our state.
I attended the meeting on Jan. 23 in Raleigh and provided testimony that focused on how volunteer HOA boards spent countless hours making sure that needed services are provided to residents.
