Holden Beach commissioners approve budget amendments

HOLDEN BEACH—Town commissioners on Tuesday approved three budget amendments including two amendments for the town hall and Jordan Boulevard projects.

Board members approved realigning $30,000 from the town hall contingency fund to meet stormwater requirements for the town hall project.

The stormwater requirements are a “must-do” for the completion of the town hall project, town manager David Hewett said.

The $30,000 needed to satisfy the stormwater requirements “should do it,” Hewett said.
