Holden Beach commissioners discuss hiring new manager, finance director

HOLDEN BEACH—While town commissioners consider applications for the full-time town manager position, interim town manager Jim Lowell has been charged with hiring either a temporary or a full-time finance director for the town.

The town’s finance director Kate White is set to resign before the end of the month and commissioners discussed whether to have Lowell hire a part-time or full-time finance director, or to wait until commissioners hire a new town manager.
