The Holden Beach Police Department investigated the following incidents and made the following arrests in the last two weeks. All information is taken directly from police incident and arrest reports.


Jan. 29

Larceny; suspect entered a house on Ocean Boulevard West and took a battery valued at $100.


Jan. 31

Larceny of a North Carolina vehicle registration sticker; suspect removed a registration sticker from a vehicle parked on Tarpon Drive.

Breaking-and-entering, larceny and damage to real property; suspect entered a house on Ocean Boulevard East, causing $500 damage to a glass door, and took a flat-screen television valued at $1,000.


Feb. 3

Larceny; suspect took three credit cards without permission from a home on Ocean Boulevard East.


Feb. 4

Larceny of a recreational vehicle; suspect took a 14-foot aluminum boat with 25-horsepower engine and trailer from a residence on Swordfish Drive.
