Holocaust survivor to speak Oct. 1 at Brunswick Plantation

Imagine living in Nazi Germany having to escape to save your family’s lives.

Alfred Schnog, a Wilmington business owner, escaped Germany on the eve of World War II and has spent the last few years traveling around North Carolina speaking to groups about his experience.

Brunswick Plantation’s Neighbors In Service (NIS) is hosting an evening with Schnog on Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 7 p.m. at the Brunswick House located at 382 Brunswick Drive, Calabash.

All are welcome to attend.
