Krista Marie Humphreys and John-Mark Humphreys, both of Ocean Isle Beach, were married Aug. 6 at the Calabash Elks Club in Calabash. The Rev. Margo R. Sears officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jean Ussery of Tomahawk, Wis., and Harold Ussery Jr. of Carolina Shores. The groom is the son of Stella and Robert “Jerry” Humphreys of Calabash.
Maid of honor was Paula Crossfield and Molly Borski was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Sherry Snider of Eau Claire, Wis., friend of the bride, and Victoria Humphreys of Carolina Shores, niece of the groom.
Best man was Adam Humphreys of Carolina Shores, the groom’s oldest brother.
Groomsmen were Rich Humphreys of Calabash and Mike Humphreys, Air Force-Germany, brothers of the groom, and Jason Borski of Hatley, Wis., and Josh Moody of Calabash, friends of the groom.
A reception followed the ceremony at the Calabash Elks Club.
The bride earned a bachelor of arts degree in May 2008 from the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire. She is employed at Lowes Foods in Little River, S.C.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of John Jay High School in Hopewell Junction, N.Y. He is employed at Gravy Southern Style Eatery in Calabash.
Following a honeymoon trip to Disney World in December, the couple will live in Ocean Isle Beach.
