Incidents, arrest in Sunset Beach

An Ocean Isle Beach man has been arrested and charged by Sunset Beach police for driving while impaired.

Kenneth Wayne Gardner, 55, of Sunset Dock, Ocean Isle Beach, was charged with DWI on Jan. 28.

Sunset Beach police also investigated two separate, reported incidents of breaking-and-entering and larceny to real property. The incidents were reported Jan. 28 at a residence on Resort Circle, and on Jan. 26 at a residence on East Main Street.
