County commissioners incumbents May Moore and Tom Rabon are safe in their seats—at least until November.
Both Democratic incumbents secured enough votes to move on to the November election. Newcomer Charles Warren secured the Republican nomination for District 3 and will face Moore in the general election.
Warren defeated Pete Enis, 2,877 votes to 2,674 votes.
Moore, the District 3 Democrat, secured 6,131 votes, or 42 percent of the votes, over challengers Boyd Williamson, with 5,393 votes, and Bobby Hewett, with 3,033 votes.
