North Carolina Governor Mike Easley has proclaimed Sept. 7-13 as Graduation Awareness Week. School districts throughout North Carolina are encouraged to utilize resources available from the state.

Numerous efforts are underway statewide to provide better academic opportunities and outcomes for all students to promote the lifelong benefits that are achieved by staying in school.
