Inspirations dancers win 30 solo awards

Inspirations Dance Centre (Southport) participated in Star Talent Productions dance competition in Supply. The dancers received High Platinum, Platinum and High Gold awards for 10 group dances, 30 solos and one trio.
In the Petite/Junior group age division, they received first overall Junior Elite Small Group, first overall Junior Excel Small Group and third overall Petite Excel Small Group.
In the Teen/Senior age division, the groups received first overall Teen Elite Large Group, first overall Teen Elite Small Group, third Overall Teen Elite Small Group, eighth overall Teen Elite Small Group and a choreography award.
The IDC Mini, Petite and Junior soloists and trio received these awards: first overall Mini Excel Solo, fifth overall Petite Excel Solo, fifth overall Junior Excel Solo, fourth overall Junior Excel Solo, fifth overall Junior Elite Solo, fourth overall Junior Elite Solo, first overall Junior Elite trio. The Teen and Senior soloists were awarded: fifth overall Teen Extreme Solo, fourth overall Teen Extreme Solo, ninth overall Teen Elite Solo, fourth overall Teen Elite Solo, first overall Senior Excel Solo, ninth overall Senior Extreme Solo, seventh overall Senior Extreme Solo and sixth overall Senior Extreme Solo.
Samantha Stone, 12, received a $1,000 scholarship to take classes in New York City and the IDC Elite and Senior companies were invited to perform in the national finals opening number as Star Performers in July. The studio was awarded “Studio of the Day.”
Participants at Star Talent were Lindsi Evans, Olivia Rogers, Emma Rosendahl, Kina Davis, Ashlyn Scott, Ashanti Price, AMandelyn Eastman, Madison Wood, Savanna Tenenoff, Hannah Pieper, Alyssa Nemec, Whitney Walls, Kaylee Potter, Hannah Helms, Erica Jones, Kristen Caudill, Caroline Peoples, Samantha Stone, Makayla Cessna, Leah Davis, Sarah Zephier, Mackenzie Bolt, Alyssa Scott, Auriella Rosendahl, Autumn Stowers, Natasha Brown, Ashleigh Mitchell, Casey Rogers, Michelle Smith, and Anna Waidlich.
