I found the Jan. 26 Beacon article about dredging the Shallotte River very interesting and informative, even comical at times.
If the owners of The Pointe LLC are so concerned about the condition of the Shallotte River, why would they install the docks/marina before something is done about the sandbar at the mouth of the river?
