Jeanne Maxon: Good golf and good dogs

I first met Jeanne Maxon 10 years ago, when I wrote a column about our local club champions. That meeting became the first of many because Jeanne has won the ladies’ club championship at Ocean Ridge Plantation for nine out of the past 10 years. (Karen McClosky won in 2009.)
We’ve become friends during this time and have played golf together several times. That’s really fun because Jeanne is right down the middle and we only have to search in the lakes, creeks and forests for my errant golf balls.
