Jones-Wash

Elizabeth Megan Jones and Jonathan Martin Wash were married Oct. 25 on Sullivans Island, S.C., with the Rev. Peter Jorgensen officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Alan Jones of Mount Pleasant , S.C., and formerly of Brunswick County.

The groom is the son of Nancy Brame of Mount Pleasant and Russell Wash of Atlanta, Ga.

The bride was given in marriage and escorted by her parents.

Maid of honor was Sable Jones of Mount Pleasant, the bride’s sister.

Bridesmaids were Danielle Jones of Ash and Katie Cross, Laura Nimmons and Morgan Murphy, all of Mount Pleasant. Samantha Jones of Mount Pleasant served as junior bridesmaid.

Ryan Wash of Chicago Ill., the groom’s brother, served as best man. Groomsmen were Trip Sturgis, Walker Owen, Chris Thompson and Clai Nassell, all of Mount Pleasant.

Flower girl was Pratt Kemp of Mount Pleasant, and ringbearer was Gabe Kemp of Mount Pleasant.

A reception followed the ceremony at Hamlin Plantation Clubhouse in Mount Pleasant.

The bride is a student at Trident Technical College.

The groom is a specialist in the U.S. Army infantry, assigned to Fort Lewis, Wash.

Following a honeymoon in Charleston, S.C., the couple lives in Tacoma, Wash.
