Officials with Brunswick Family Assistance (BFA) say if they don’t come up with about $50,000 before mid-January, the nonprofit agency may have to close its doors.
BFA, based in Shallotte, provides crisis services for families and individuals throughout Brunswick County by offering assistance with food, rental and utilities payments, clothing, disaster needs and more.
