Lady Trojans sweep softball doubleheader

West Brunswick’s Lady Trojans swept a softball doubleheader Monday against South Columbus at Vinegar Hill to stretch their winning streak to four games.

The Lady Trojans (5-1) won the opener 6-1 and took the nightcap 7-2.

Amber Rampero went 2-for-2 with a home run; Carly White tripled and Heather Carter had a double.

Carter was the winning pitcher.

Rampero and Stacey Jackson each doubled in the second game with White picking up the victory. Rampero went 2-for-3.
