BOLIVIA—A lawsuit filed against the Brunswick County Board of Education by the parents who gave consent for their teenage daughter to marry her cross-country coach was dismissed Monday in Brunswick County Superior Court.
Judge Thomas Locke dismissed the lawsuit filed by Dennis and Betty Hager, which claimed the board failed to determine a relationship between their then 16-year-old daughter Windy and Brenton Wuchae, then 40, a former South Brunswick High School science teacher and cross-country coach.
