Leaders should have to witness animal torture

To the editor: When are some people going to come into the 21st century? Gas chambers for the helpless, voiceless animals that are also God’s creatures and who have committed “no crime”?

The “crime” is being committed by the “so-called” officials. What is wrong with these officials who are so very determined to cause pain and suffering to these helpless animals?

Maybe it would be a good idea for one of them to experience the agony these helpless animals are going through. At least the so-called human would know what was happening and why.

The animals they kill in such a barbaric manner only know they are going through extreme pain and agony. They are also innocent.

Wake up people before it’s too late. Let the “officials” know this cannot and will not any longer be tolerated.

Please remember you are the ones who put them “in charge” and you are the ones who have the final say. You can and must stop the arrogance and ignorance of these so-called “leaders.”

Years ago, Gandhi said, “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” I wonder how “they” (officials) will be judged?

Isn’t it sad the way so many of our so-called leaders abuse and use their power/control? How many of these people have actually witnessed the torture being given to these helpless animals?

Maybe it would be a good idea to take one of the gas chambers to one of their meetings and have a display for them to witness the torture first hand.
