Leland Crime report

Leland police officers investigated the following incidents and made the following arrests last week. All information is taken directly from patrol activity reports.

•Shoplifting on New Pointe Boulevard; suspect shoplifted from Wal-Mart.

•Shoplifting on New Pointe Boulevard; Barbara Karen Hewett, 45, of 1328 Goley-Hewett Road, Bolivia, was cited for shoplifting and issued a trespassing violation warning.

•Nick Andres Hensley, 27, of 1102 Garden Club Way, Leland; warrants were served on Hensley for simple assault, communicating threats and first-degree trespassing.

•Flordeliza Catipay Bulisig, 30, of 257 Ross Court, Leland; charged with simple assault.

•Larceny on Reed Road; Morris Hendrix Cooke Jr., 21, of 1510 Bluff Drive, Leland; released on a state citation for larceny.

•Driving while license revoked on U.S. 17; Sam King, 26, of 1133 E. Stewart Circle, Wilmington; charged with driving while license revoked.

•Property damage on Knight Harbor Drive; victim reported his vehicle was damaged while he was visiting a friend.

•Victim reported an armed robbery on Parsley Lane.

•Breaking and entering to a motor vehicle, larceny and obtaining property by false pretenses on Sturgeon Drive; victim reported a suspect stole his watch and then pawned it at Pawn USA.

•Larceny on Glendale Avenue; suspect stole victim’s four-wheeler from his home.

•Daniel Dewayne Hardin, 49, of 150 Fairview Road, Leland; charged with driving while impaired, improper right turn and expired inspection.
