Leland Crime report

Leland police officers investigated the following incidents and arrested the following suspects during the past two weeks. All information is taken directly from patrol activity reports.

•Larceny of fuel at GoGas; suspect pumped gas and drove away without paying for it.

•Pursuant to a traffic stop on Old Fayetteville Road, John Paul Isaksen, 29, of 136 Parsley Lane Apt. 104, was charged with driving while impaired, open container and a lane violation.

•Larceny of fuel at Murphy USA; suspect pumped $62.97 worth of gas and left without paying for it.

•Larceny of a motor vehicle on Village Road; victim’s car was stolen from the Food Lion parking lot.

•Pursuant to a traffic stop on Moore Road, Eric Keith Bryant, 32, of 360 Van Galloway Road, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Pursuant to a traffic stop on U.S. 74, Billy Joe Teftteller, 28, of 2079 Maco Road, was charged with driving while impaired, failure to stop for blue lights and speeding.

•Domestic disturbance on Mapletree Drive; Daniel John Sutton, 44, of 508 North 6th St., Wilmington, was arrested for disorderly conduct in a public place.

•Shoplifting on Village Road; Edward Earl Waddell, 48, of 9778 Chappell Loop Road, Belville, was cited and released for shoplifting four Air Wick oils at the Piggly Wiggly.
