Leland police officers investigated the following incidents and made the following arrests last week. All information is taken directly from patrol activity reports.
•Fictitious information to an officer at U.S. 17 and Ploof Road; Ferquan Jamiel Williams, 18, of 7460 Ocean Highway West, Shallotte, gave false information to an officer, saying his name was Tyrese Williams, and his date of birth was Jan. 18, 1991.
•Pursuant to a traffic stop on U.S. 17, Christopher Jeffrey Hammond, 22, of 136 Swain Creek, Supply, was charged with no operator’s license, fictitious information to an officer and possession of a schedule VI controlled substance. Hammond told officers he was Ferquan Jamiel Williams.
•After responding to a traffic wreck on Old Fayetteville Road, officers charged Michael David Rogers, 25, of 947 Pickett Road, with driving while impaired and driving while license revoked.
•Burglary on Cleatwood Drive; suspect reported someone had damaged two doors in his garage by kicking in and/or prying on them. The victim reported missing clothing.
•Pursuant to an investigative stop on Reed Road, Christopher Lee Medlin, 43, of Lincoln Road, was cited and released for possession of a schedule II controlled substance.
•James E. Johnson, 46, of 9848-8 Lloyd St., was arrested for assault on a female and placed under no bond at the Brunswick County Detention Center.
•Larceny at Wal-Mart; David Scott Frost, 17, of 1044 Justice Lane, was transported to the Brunswick County Detention Center and placed under $1,000 secured bond after stealing various items from Wal-Mart.
•Larceny at Wal-Mart; Christopher L. Dickerson, 27, of 2451 Rooks Road, Atkinson, admitted to larceny and was cited on a state citation and released.
•Larceny on Reed Road; suspect stole items from the Movie Gallery and then fled on foot toward Mount Misery Road.
