Leland police officers investigated the following incidents and made the following arrests last week. All information is taken directly from patrol activity reports.
•Pursuant to a traffic stop on U.S. 17, Amanda Gail Williams, 22, of 741 Heights Place, was charged with driving while license revoked, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A second suspect, Curtis Matthew Williams, 20, also of 741 Heights Place, was charged with open container, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
•Pursuant to a traffic stop on Village Road, Jerry Lamont Andrews, 34, of 825 Pine Valley Drive, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A warning ticket was issued for a window tint violation.
•Larceny on New Point Boulevard; suspect stole a computer from Wal-Mart.
•Pursuant to a traffic stop on Lanvale Road, James Paul Horton, 40, of 349 Southern High School Road, Graham, was charged with driving while impaired and open container.
•Property damage on Egrets Nest Circle; suspect threw a rock through victim’s patio glass door, shattering the glass.
•Pursuant to a traffic stop at the Walgreens parking lot on Village Road, Danny Lynn Heath, 41, of 9647 Holly Hills Drive, was charged with driving while impaired, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
•Pursuant to a traffic accident on Lanvale Road, Anthony Bruce Jenkins, 44, of 9208 National Avenue, was charged with driving while impaired, care and reckless driving and no insurance.
•Pursuant to a traffic stop on U.S. 74-76, Latasha Cleo Willis, 20, of 704 Park Ave., Navassa, was charged with driving while impaired, provisional licensee and following too closely.
•Sexual battery on Village Road; suspect assaulted a female at the post office.
•Pursuant to a traffic stop on U.S. 74-76, Alexandria Marie Powell, 18, of 1037 Joseph St., Carolina Beach, was charged with driving while impaired, provisional licensee and speeding.
•Injury to real property on Lanvale Road; suspect damaged the Springstone Subdivision sign.
•Attempted breaking and entering on Old Fayetteville Road; suspect broke three windows to the victim’s home and opened back door. Nothing was reported stolen.
•Larceny of a motor vehicle at the Wal-Mart parking lot; victim reported leaving his 1989 Toyota in the parking lot with the keys in the vehicle. When he returned to the parking lot the vehicle was missing.
•Hit and run on U.S. 17 and Old Waterford Way; victim reported a maroon Mercury Sable ran a red light, striking her vehicle, and then fled the scene.
•Breaking and entering and larceny on Wire Road; suspect cut the lock off a storage shed and stole a $1,200 drill.
•Credit card fraud at Wal-Mart; victim reported her credit card was stolen and used to purchase phone cards and gasoline at Wal-Mart.
