The Leland Police Department investigated the following incidents and made the following arrests in the last three weeks. All information is taken directly from police incident and arrest reports.
Corey Prather, 35, 211 Davie Drive, Wilmington, was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant and charged with misdemeanor larceny.
Dog bite; Jo Anna Lynn Tysinger was bitten by a dog on North Palm Drive in Winnabow.
A suspicious fire was reported at 1006 Hunterstone Drive Apt. 106, Leland, by the property owner, Tribute Properties.
Dog bite; April Marie Ormond reported she was bitten by her dog at her home on Timber Lane, Leland.
Ashley Martina Hutchins, 28, 127 Basin Street, Leland, charged with misdemeanor larceny.
Injury to real property; a suspect damaged the garage door of a house on Combine Lane, Leland.
Larceny of a $10.99 bottle of wine from Food Lion on Village Road, Leland. A suspect took the bottle without permission.
Cyberstalking; a suspect stalked a victim on Macklin Street, Leland, by way of the Internet.
Breaking and entering, larceny and injury to real property; suspects broke into a house on Lloyd Street, Leland, damaging a wooden door and taking a microwave oven, women’s clothing and folding chairs, with a total value of $290.
Nicole Louise Brown, 35, 1301 Kornegay Avenue, Wilmington, was charged with felony aiding and abetting an armed robbery, felony first-degree burglary and aiding and abetting felony larceny, felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle, felony breaking and entering and misdemeanor aiding and abetting larceny from a vehicle.
Assault on a female; a suspect grabbed the victim and threw her to the ground at a residence on Bridgeport Way, Leland.
Pierre Montrell Love, 28, 511 North Elm St., Chadbourn, was charged with speeding and possession of marijuana.
Pursuit of a suspect who failed to stop for a police officer on U.S. 74/76 near Village Road, Leland.
Tammy Stallings Gore, 40, 2950 Maco Road NE, Leland, was charged with felony larceny, defeating an anti-theft device.
Tiffany Nichole Gore, 19, 2950 Maco Road NE, Leland, was charged with misdemeanor larceny.
Edward Carl Gore, 22, 2950 Maco Road NE, Leland, was charged with misdemeanor larceny.
Financial transaction card fraud; a suspect used the victim’s card without permission at a grocery store on Village Road, Leland.
Larceny; a suspect defeated an anti-theft device at a grocery store on New Pointe Boulevard in Leland and took DVDs and clothing valued at $140.
