Leland police officers investigated the following incidents last week and issued the following charges. All information is taken directly from patrol activity reports.
•Larceny on Village Road; suspect left Food Lion with an undisclosed amount of groceries without paying for them.
•Breaking and entering and larceny on Lanvale Road; victim reported her boyfriend broke into her vehicle and stole money from her.
•Property damage on Grandiflora Drive; victim reported an unknown suspect struck his mailbox, damaging it.
•Breaking and entering and larceny on Parkland Way; victim reported while she was away, an unknown suspect broke into her home and stole several items.
•Breaking and entering and larceny on Lee Drive; after responding to a call of suspects removing items from abandoned trailers on Baldwin Drive, victim reported someone broke into his vehicle Nov. 5 and took several items.
•Attempted burglary on Lincoln Place Circle; Marion Justice Smith, 35, of 1368 Village Road, was arrested and charged with attempted burglary.
•Prescription fraud on Village Road; suspects obtained a controlled substance by a fraudulent prescription. Suspects were released pending further investigation.
