The Leland Police Department investigated the following incidents and made the following arrests in the last two weeks. All information is taken directly from police incident and arrest reports.

 

Dec. 13

Kristopher Sharon Williams, 19, 1230 Mapletree Dr., Apt. 308, arrested on one count of felony larceny.

 

Dec. 14

Larceny; an unknown suspect took $500 worth of building materials from a construction site on North Palm Drive, Winnabow.

 

Dec. 15

Alexander Pone, 44, 2391 Golf Course Road, Whiteville, arrested on one felony charge of larceny by removing an anti-theft device and one misdemeanor larceny charge.

 

Dec. 16

Christopher Lee Woodlief, 28, 5585 Academy Drive, Winnabow, arrested for three felony warrants and two misdemeanor warrants.

 

Dec. 19

Possession of marijuana; suspect was stopped on U.S. 17 near Lanvale Road with a clear plastic bag containing $25 worth of marijuana.

Welfare check, officers checked on a subject on Waterfield Street who made threats on the telephone to end his or her life.

 

Dec. 20

Phillip James Evans, 33, 2457 Tom George Road, Nashville, was arrested for three felony warrants and one misdemeanor warrant.

Deondre Montrell Freeman, 41, 1035 Ashland Way, arrested for three misdemeanor simple worthless checks.

Domestic dispute; suspect entered a residence on Ashland Way and took items without owner’s consent.

Warrant served on suspect on Ashland Way.

Warrant served on suspect on Village Road for possession of schedule IV and schedule II controlled substances.

 

Dec. 21

Obtaining property by false pretenses; suspect took miscellaneous coins from a residence on Village Road and sold them without owner’s permission.

 

Dec. 22

Larceny; suspect took home furnishings, valued at $1,290, without permission from a residence on Ashland Way.

 

Dec. 23

Larceny; an unknown suspect removed custom wheels valued at $3,500 from a vehicle parked on Old Fayetteville Road and left the vehicle on cinderblocks.

 

Dec. 24

Katie Marie Greenleaf, 22, 1277 Village Road, Apt. 15, arrested on one felony charge of larceny by an employee.

Larceny by an employee; suspect took two computer tablets and a television, valued at $2,600, from a business on Village Road.

Warrant served on suspect on Perry Avenue.

Larceny by an employee; during a period of a month, suspect took $1,024.92 from the cash register of a business on New Pointe Boulevard.

Larceny and trespassing; suspect took miscellaneous children’s toys from a business on New Pointe Boulevard.

Larceny; suspect took miscellaneous items from a business on New Pointe Boulevard without paying for them.

 

Dec. 25

Injury to personal property; unknown suspect caused $900 damage to a vehicle parked on New Pointe Boulevard.

Breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle; an unknown suspect entered an unsecured vehicle parked on Ashland Way and took a GPS device, radar detector and a digital camera with a total value of $460.

Larceny of a motor vehicle; an unknown suspect took a $1,700 dirt bike from a yard on Village Road without the owner’s permission.

 

Dec. 27

Crystal Beth Ramsey, 37, 5450 Little Trail, Riegelwood, arrested on misdemeanor charges of larceny and trespassing.

Larceny and trespassing; suspect took boots valued at $25 after previously being removed for trespassing from a business on New Pointe Boulevard.

Breaking and entering a motor vehicle; an unknown subject entered a vehicle parked at a residence on Ruby Stone Court.

Larceny; unknown suspect took a bicycle valued at $150 without permission from Holly Hills Drive.

Breaking and entering a motor vehicle; unknown subject entered an unsecured vehicle on Hevener Street.

Injury to real property; officers made a forced entry to a residence on Highland Hills Drive under necessary circumstances to assist resident, causing $200 damage to a window and door frame.

Breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle; an unknown suspect entered an unsecured vehicle parked on Hevener Street and took a purse and wallet.
