The winner of a recent raffle at AMVETS (American Veterans) Post 906 in Boiling Spring Lakes was Jaime Jackson, a 25-year-old former resident of Wilmington and granddaughter of Jerry Wolf Sr., first vice commander of AMVETS Post 906, who purchased the winning raffle ticket as a gift for his granddaughter.
Jaime and her husband Shane immediately donated $60 back to Post 906, stipulating that it be used to help provide hats for the Post’s men’s class B softball team entered in the Brunswick County Parks & Recreation League.
